Scope: Non-Profit Event, Community Mental Health Facility for Victims of Trauma, Washington State.
Mission: Announce and attract the public to a new summer restaurant and wine tasting crawl. The non-profit event includes over 40 businesses located in the Olde Town Bellevue shopping district. Branding and Identity (Poster, Advertising).
Key Insight: The Puget Sound in the month of August is buzzing with outdoor festivals and activities crammed into the sunniest part of the short NW summer. The Taste of Main, centered in Olde Town Bellevue where acclaimed restaurants and shops are an attraction, stands out in it's support of an important community non-profit—the Children’s Response Center, a mental health agency through Harborview Outpatient Mental Health Services that provides direct assistance to victims of sexual and other abuse, for children, youth and families. We chose colorful icons to quickly communicate the array of offerings, wine tastings, food, music and family fun which complimented the puzzle-like construction of the new logo. The event continues to grow year after year.
